Building Community – one neighbor at a time!
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS is not always easy. But when it involves a causal potluck supper and an informative speaker on an interesting topic, friendships start to spring up. Monthly Resilience Circle meetings take place in a neighbor’s home and present information about sustainability -related topics such as how to avoid pesticides in your yard, energy efficiency, considering if goats or chickens are right for you, designing a wildlife – friendly garden, and so on.
The aim is creating community and - sometimes - a community project, such as working towards becoming a Bee Safe Neighborhood - will spring out of these meetings. Contact: SustainableEiber@gmail.com / ‘Sustainable Eiber’ on Facebook.

Resilience Circle - Looking to the FUTURE - Over the past 5 years, monthly Resilience Circle potlucks have forged friendships and built community. They have been the heart of our Sustainable Eiber efforts. But did you notice that there hasn't been a monthly Resilience Circle meeting for a while? After a good 5 years of organizing (almost) monthly Resilience Circle Pot Lucks + Speakers, I decided to take a break over the summer as summer tends to be a time when folks are traveling and involved in other things.
But now that the weather is cooler I'm looking for someone (or some two or three ) to take on this task - maybe bi monthly? It is not a lot of work and I'm happy to coach you, provide email list and so on. I plan to focus on more 'occasional' events such as those mentioned above. Contact: SustainableEiber@gmail.com
